Derwentwater is the "Jewel" of the Lake District with superb views of Cat Bells, Derwentwater and the Lodore landings from Surprise View. All this is only a few minutes from Keswick and can be easily reached by Boat, Bus, Car, or on foot.

The Keswick launch cruises hourly around Derwentwater. There are six jetties you can sail to, then enjoy a walk on the fells or back in to the town. Stunning views from the boats.

Beautiful Watendlath is 5 miles from Keswick, there are many easy Lake District walks, a tea shop and a well stocked trout fishing lake.
